In 2008, Chatt Plus launched Gifts for a Smile and became a corporate sponsor of the Smile Train Organization. They perform free operations on needy children with cleft lip and palate. This is a serious problem in developing countries where there are millions of children suffering with unrepaired clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly. They are not allowed to attend school or hold a job. Most face lives filled with shame, isolation, pain and heartache.
